Greetings!
My name is Char Musser and I am excited to be writing something for the first issue of our UMW Newsletter. We welcome any women who would like to become a part of Channahon UMW. We are always excited to share about the many ways that United Methodist Women are involved in mission . . . making a difference, every day, in the lives of women, children and youth . . . around the world, and in our own community.
As United Methodist Women we foster spiritual growth, develop leaders and advocate for justice.
There are about 70 ladies in the Channahon UMW.
We are many different ages
We are working moms, stay-at-home moms, grandmothers, caregivers, business women, nurses, teachers, and retirees.
We are committee members, Sunday School teachers, and community volunteers.
Basically, we are just like you, busy people with hearts and hands for mission, and there is a place for you in United Methodist Women. Just ask a current member or contact me. We would celebrate having you join us.
