A Word from our Prez . . .

Happy Spring!
I don’t know if there is anything more welcome than the
sight of spring flowers after winter passes.
These flowers remind us of God’s constant presence in our lives. This
Spring Channahon UMW is celebrating new visibility, growth in our membership,
and new ways to reach out in mission for women, youth, and children.
We have our web link on the church’s website that is
constantly updated, we have our Newsletter which is available in the Narthex
and on our web link, and now we have a blog spot that can be viewed at
channahonumw.blogspot.com. There are so
many ladies working so hard to make our mission visible. Thank You!
A new circle is forming on April 16 at 7:00 at the
church. This is a great opportunity for
women to learn about UMW and see how this works in your life.
We are reaching out in mission with our first “Walk for
Mission”. UMW members will be walking
and asking for donations for mission.

May God continue to bless the work of UMW and the members
